This is the target functionality.

• user-definable database location
• add multiple files to the database
• watch folders and automatically add new files to the database
• browse files
• add metadata to files, such as title name, year etc. Different templates to define available metadata, e.g. TV shows need the show title, series number and episode name/order.
• automatically retrieve metadata from IMDB
• search within file metadata, including options to search within specific metadata, e.g. “foo” in title, and “bar” in description
• tag files
• retrieve tags, show all files tagged “x”, or all files tagged “x” and “y”
• play files, either with the system preferred application or a user-definable command
• plugin architecture to extend functionality.
